WE ARE FAMILY
Whānau ‘the brand’ was originally set up to help young Maori, Kiwi and Pacific Island sports men and woman achieve their dreams here in the UK. It was also to help, guide, and make the UK a home away from home.
Many years on we are now looking to share the same Aroha (love) with our new and exciting sports and leisure wear, telling a story of our Maori and New Zealand culture. Whānau is about supporting those who have a dream, Whānau is about supporting those who are less fortunate and Whānau is about looking after grassroots sports by creating the same family environment and community spirit that we grew up with in Aotearoa- New Zealand.
We believe now, more than ever, is the time for grassroots to become the heart of all sports. Our style is unique, our designs are original (lost native tattoos) and our beliefs are ethical. We have been in professional sports for many years so know how important it is to have the right clothing, whether we’re out playing, training or just relaxing.
We will go the extra mile, because that’s what Whānau (family) do.
